HOW TO MATAIN YOUR WOOD CUTTING BOARD

CARE & MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

1. After receiving the wooden cutting board: Rinse briefly with water, dry it, then it’s ready to use.
2. Regular oiling: Oil after each use or at least once a week. If the board surface looks dry, it needs oiling.
3. Oiling steps:
- Rinse and dry the board.
- Apply mineral oil/beeswax/vegetable oil with a cloth or brush.
- Let it sit for 12 hours, then wipe off excess oil.
4. Minor scratch repair:
- Sand the scratched area with fine sandpaper (follow the wood grain).
- For edge scratches: Sand gently to blend with the surroundings.
- Remove dust, then oil the board.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

1.The cutting board was coated with aprotective layer of beeswax tomake it lessprone to bacteria infestation and give it a hardened finish.Prior to initial use,simply clean with detergent and rinse.
2.Hand wash with mild soap and warm water after each use.
3.After washing,dry it with a towel,and place the board vertically for air drying.
4.Use lemon or baking soda to remove smells.

CAUTION

DO NOT use alcohol,gasoline,or other chemical solvents to remove stains.
DO NOT put the board in the dishwasher.
DO NOT expose the board to direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, as this can cause warping or cracking.
DO NOT chop or slash with brutal force, as this can leave unrepairable cuts on the surface or even crack the board.
